Registration Begins for Annual Conference

You can now register for the WVMEA Annual In-Service Conference to be held March 7-9, 2019. This spring we will welcome you to a conference in the newly renovated Charleston Civic Center. We have booked two nationally known sponsored clinicians, Jim Solomon and Carol Krueger, and received an excellent collection of proposal submissions. The theme for this conference is KEEPING MUSIC AT THE TABLE, a paraphrase of “If you are not at the table, you are on the menu.” In the state of West Virginia, music education is alive and well and our job is to make it even better. Check out our website for more information on registration, advertising, exhibiting, local hotel information, event schedule (to come), and more.

WVMEA is Getting a Website Facelift

And, we're pretty excited about it. WVMEA has been recently undergoing a website re-development. Thank you for being patient as we reformat content, add new features, and improve the overall website structure. The ability to download the usual forms and view links for registrations and additional sources of information will still be available, but we hope you have an easier time locating the information you're looking for and can take advantage of some new features. We'll be adding pages with current news, a search bar to scan articles, an events calendar, job postings, a contact page, and more. Our goal is that this project will be a great resource to music educators, students and their parents once it's completed! Please bear with us as we continue to better your online experience.
